NRL Wheelchair

Wheelchair NRL is a national not-for-profit sporting organisation, which promotes fun, fitness, skill development, self-esteem, social inclusion and the fostering of good sportsmanship in a safe, positive and welcoming environment.

The organisation wanted to raise their profile in the media and with corporate audiences.

Infodec Communications reached out to NRL clubs to organise publicity opportunities for the group to raise their profile. Both the Cronulla Sharks and Canterbury Bulldogs afforded the organisation the opportunity to meet with players and use the meeting as part of their media awareness campaign.

After co-ordination with the Canterbury Bulldogs the group were invited to attend a training session. This session was filmed and recorded by the Today Show in Sydney. Commentator Tim Gilbert attended the session and Channel 9 produced a segment featuring Wheelchair NRL.

Wheelchair NRL were featured on the Today Show – you can see a copy of the video segment here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lP6dVa5buxU
