Helping small business owners with editorial writing with the outcome of publication.
STRATEGY
Nicholas Bray, an expert in landscape architecture, horticulture and environmental planning, approached Infodec Communications, to write an article about his company, Nicholas Bray Landscapes, with the projected outcome of publication in relevant newspapers and magazines.
Nicholas sat down with Joanne Ryan from Infodec and discussed his distinctive projects, including a project where he has transformed one of the majestic gardens of the Southern Highlands of NSW into a sustainable garden – on a grand scale. Infodec decided that editorial direction would best suit Nicholas and his company in terms of showcasing the work.
Infodec Communications conducted comprehensive and ample research to determine which publications were best to approach to achieve the desired effect. To enhance the work done by the client, additional information, guided by previous research methods, supported the angles and layout of the article.
RESULTS
The article was written and submitted to a number of publications, along with some beautiful high-resolution images.
This resulted in publication in two influential media sources, appearing in the Sunday Canberra Times on 27 May 2012, and across a seven page spread in the magazine, Landscaping Your Garden, issue no.2, 2012.
Nicholas Bray Landscaping was able to build his profile through the media exposure gained and the article became a tool to further promote both his work and his company.
