Helping small business owners with tender writing
STRATEGY
In September 2013 Infodec Communications developed and ran a workshop that was aimed at time-poor small business owners who wished to provide a service to all levels of Government, including local, state and federal, but were unaware of how to approach the request for tender (RFT) document.
Infodec Communications researched the tender process extensively and combined our findings with our years of experience writing tender documents for small business owners. The result was a workshop held at Hazelhurst Theatrette in Gymea, which was attended by a number of small business owners. As part of the workshop, Infodec Communications provided a detailed tender writing instruction document and conducted a presentation outlining the various components of that document.
RESULTS
Our clients, Sutherland Shire Council were very happy with the workshop and documents produced and provided Infodec Communications with the following testimonial.
“Sutherland Shire Council’s Economic Development Unit recently engaged Joanne Ryan from Infodec Communications to facilitate a tender writing workshop for local businesses. Joanne’s engagement incorporated the investigation and development of material for the workshop which included a comprehensive workbook for attendees. The quality of the material provided was outstanding and Jo’s experience in working successfully on other tenders resonated in her presentation.” Rebecca Woods, Economic Development & Place Management, Sutherland Shire Council.
